2024.03 - Todo Sobrevivirá. Bodega Piloto y Galeria Casas Riegner presentan Todo Sobrevivirá, una colaboración entre Bernardo Ortiz y Julio Victoria.

Todo sobrevivirá (2024) incluye 5 composiciones electrónicas, disponibles en vinilo de 12 pulgadas de edición limitada. El cual surge de un prolongado diálogo entre los dos artistas que investigan los ecos entre tipografía, geometría, lenguaje y sonido. Varios de los dibujos textuales de Ortiz sirvieron de inspiración para los paisajes sonoros de Victoria. En las composiciones, frases repetidas y texturas rítmicas se entremezclan con los arreglos musicales creando una sensación de movimiento, y sugiriendo significados a través de melodías oscurecidas y matices tonales.

Su colaboración destila cada medio a sus formas esenciales, descubriendo conexiones subliminales mediante la escucha y la observación cercana. Todo Sobrevivirá ofrece, sin lugar a dudas, nuevas direcciones en el trabajo de ambos artistas.

2024.03 - Everything Will Survive. Bodega Piloto and Galeria Casas Riegner present Everything Will Survive, a collaboration between Bernardo Ortiz and Julio Victoria.

Everything Will Survive (2024), includes five electronic compositions, available on a limited edition 12-inch vinyl. It emerges from an extended dialogue between the two artists investigating echoes between typography, geometry, language, and sound. Several of Ortiz's textual drawings served as inspiration for Victoria's soundscapes. In the compositions, repeated phrases and rhythmic textures intermingle with musical arrangements, creating a sense of movement and suggesting meaning through obscured melodies and tonal nuances.

Their collaboration distills each medium to its essential forms, uncovering subliminal connections through listening and close observation. Everything Will Survive undoubtedly offers new directions in the work of both artists.

2023.11 - White Fence: Velos de Fragilidad. Bodega Piloto, Galeria Espacio Continuo, Marli Matsumoto Arte Contemporânea presentaron White Fence: Velos de Fragilidad (2008-2023) de Rosario Lopez.

Bajo la idea de revisar y recontextualizar obras emblemáticas de artistas de mediana carrera, Bodega Piloto invita a Rosario López a presentar White Fence (2008), una instalación inspirada en un viaje al Glaciar Perito Moreno en la Patagonia Argentina, entre diciembre de 2007 y enero 2008. Para la instalación en Bodega Piloto, López imprime una “gigantografía” sobre tela a partir de una de las imágenes capturadas durante el viaje. Igualmente, presenta White Fence que consta de cuatro repisas de madera con bolsas de tela y cal que por su naturaleza se van deformando durante el transcurso de la exhibición. En esta ocasión, las repisas flotan en el espacio de manera casi aleatoria y el posicionamiento de los diferentes elementos se convierte en una cartografía tridimensional que ayuda a la navegación del lugar e informan la experiencia del espectador. La manera aparentemente informal del posicionamiento de estos y la variedad de caminos, vistas y transparencias que se esbozan al recorrer el espacio, subrayan el interés de la artista en reflexionar sobre las oposiciones inherentes que guardan los sistemas naturales y los sistemas creados por el ser humano. La obra de López nos abre el camino para reflexionar sobre el paso del tiempo, la huella del hombre, la resiliencia de la naturaleza, y su precariedad.

2023. 11 - White Fence: Veils of Fragility. Bodega Piloto, Marli Matsumoto Arte Contemporânea, and Espacio Continuo, presented White Fence: Veils of Fragility by ROSARIO LÓPEZ.

White Fence (2008), an installation inspired by a journey to the Perito Moreno Glacier in the Argentie Patagonia, between December 2007 and January 2008. For the installatin at Bodega Piloto, López prints a "gigantography" on fabric based on one of the images captured during the trip. Similarly, she presents White Fence, consisting of four wooden shelves holding 1,200 porous fabric bags filled with lime lime, which by their nature, deform during the course of the exhibition. On this occasion, the shelves float almost randomly in space, and the positioning of different elements becomes a three-dimensional cartography aiding navigation and informing the viewer's experience. The seemingly informal positioning and the variety of paths, views, and transparencies outlined while traversing the space underscore the artist's interest in reflecting on the inherent oppositions between natural systems and those created by humans. López's work paves the way for reflection on the passage of time, the imprint of humanity, the resilience of nature, and its precariousness.

2023.03 - Memoria Afectiva: Bodega Piloto y Vasco Araújo presentaron Memoria Afectiva (2023) de Vasco Araújo; resultado de la residencia de Araújo en Bodega Piloto (febrero-abril, 2023).

Papeles de uso personal, de oficina o comercial se entrelazan con frases escritas e insertadas por el artista en pacas de papel para reciclar. Papel derivado de cartas, memos, intercambios literarios, listas de uso privado o público. Papeles que evocan la memoria de una ciudad, Bogotá y sus habitantes, ya que proceden de las recicladoras de la zona industrial histórica de Bogotá vecinas a Bodega Piloto. Por una combinación de circunstancias, el peso y cantidad de papel acumulado para esta instalación corresponde al peso promedio de papel que un individuo de aproximadamente 50 años utiliza en su vida, edad similar a la del artista. Memoria afectiva es una instalación que invita a recordar a través de recuerdos propios y ajenos.

2023.03 - Affective Memory: Bodega Piloto and Vasco Araújo presented Affective Memory (2023); the result of Araújo’s residency at Bodega Piloto (February - April, 2023).

Papers for personal, office or commercial use are intertwined with phrases written and inserted by the artist in bales of paper for recycling. Paper derived from letters, memos, literary exchanges, lists for private or public use. Papers that evoke the memory of a city, Bogotá, and its inhabitants, as they come from the recyclers of the historic industrial zone, close to Bodega Piloto. By a combination of circumstances, the weight and quantity of paper accumulated for the installation Memoria afectiva corresponds to the average weight of paper that an individual of approximately 50 years of age uses in their life, an age similar to that of the artist. Memoria afectiva encourages the viewer to remember through teir own and other people’s memories.

2022.10 - Qué estoy haciendo aquí: Bodega Piloto y Casas Riegner presentaron Qué estoy haciendo aquí (1999-2000) de Luis Roldán, obra concebida, exhibida y ganadora del Premio Luis Caballero en el planetario de Bogotá en la edición del 2001.  

Adicionalmente, Roldan trabajo en el espacio para crear una instalación compuesta por cerámicas y pinturas de su autoría con elementos encontrados y reciclados de oficinas en desuso. Este experimento sirvió para integrar el trabajo en cerámica y la obra pictórica en instalaciones espaciales que permiten la exhibición simultánea de los objetos, resultando en una serie de obras tituladas La oficina.

2022.10 - Qué estoy haciendo aquí (What am I doing here): Bodega Piloto and Casas Riegner presented Qué estoy haciendo aquí (1999-2000) by Luis Roldan, a work conceived, exhibited and winner of the Luis Caballero Award at the planetarium in Bogota in the 2001 edition.  

In addition, Roldan worked in the space to create an installation composed of his own ceramics and paintings with elements found and recycled from disused offices. This experiment served to integrate the ceramic work and the pictorial work in spatial installations that allow the simultaneous exhibition of the objects, resulting in a series of works entitled La oficina (The Office).

2022.10 - Departamento Temporal de los Objetos: es un proyecto de investigación sobre cultura material domestica en Colombia, desde 1950 hasta hoy creado por Liliana Andrade. Por su naturaleza, se materializa de diferentes maneras: exposiciones, publicaciones, ediciones especiales, acciones.

Su primera edición expositiva fue en el año 2020 en la Galería Santa Fé. La segunda edición, en alianza con Bodega Piloto tuvo énfasis en ediciones especiales. Contó con 20 piezas seleccionadas y producidas en exclusividad por algunos de los artistas y diseñadores para el Departamento Temporal de los Objetos.

2022.10 - Temporary Department of Objects: is a research project on domestic material culture in Colombia, from 1950 to today created by Liliana Andrade. Due to its nature, it materializes in different ways: exhibitions, publications, special editions, actions.

Its first exhibition edition was in 2020 at the Galería Santa Fé. The second edition, in alliance with Bodega Piloto, focused on special editions. It featured 20 pieces selected and produced exclusively by some of the artists and designers for the Temporary Department of Objects.

2020.12 - Bancapilota: Las Bancapilotas fueron diseñadas por Arquitectura Expandida (AXP) para Bodega Piloto pensando en la distribución de las mismas en la Zona Industrial de Bogota (ZIBO). Su diseño utiliza listones reciclados de pino de 4 x 4 cm x 3 m cortados y ensamblados en bancas rodantes que sirven como bancas de parque y banquitas (arcos) de futbol.

2020.12 - Bancapilota: The Bancapilotas were designed by Arquitectura Expandida (AXP) for Bodega Piloto thinking about their distribution in the Industrial Zone of Bogota (ZIBO). Its design uses recycled pine slats of 4 x 4 cm x 3 m cut and assembled into rolling benches that serve as park benches and soccer goals.

2020.12 - Experimento 1: Experimento 1 es una investigación y performance de Maria José Arjona respondiendo al espíritu del momento en un entorno tradicionalmente industrial. Utilizando material visual y sonoro derivado de “Como es adentro/es afuera” y sumándole registros visuales propios del lugar, Experimento 1 logra un desdoblamiento espacial que subraya el carácter bruto del espacio a través de una experiencia lúdica para el espectador. Este ejercicio tuvo en consideración formas de ofrecer contenidos culturales al publico de manera segura durante la pandemia.

2020.12 - Experiment 1: Experiment 1 is an investigation and performance by Maria José Arjona responding to the spirit of the moment in a traditionally industrial environment. Using visual and sound material derived from "Como es adentro/es afuera" and adding visual registers of the place, Experiment 1 achieves a spatial unfolding that underlines the raw character of the space through a playful experience for the spectator. This exercise took into consideration ways to offer cultural content to the public in a safe way during the pandemic.

2019.10 - PARQUE INDUSTRIAL: Taller y performance de Mateo López en colaboración con: Bellaluz Gutiérrez-Bailarina/Coreógrafa; Juliana Rodríguez Bailarina/Coreógrafa; Alejandro Penagos-Performer;Lee Serle-Bailarín/Coreógrafo; Connor Whiriskey- Ingeniero de sonido; Manuel Quintana iluminación y Mapping; y Paola Andrea Marti-productora. El taller y performance hace parte de la investigación plástica del artista frente a la reutilización de materiales e ideas en diferentes proyectos como proceso de experimentación y materialización de la obra.

2019.10 - INDUSTRIAL PARK: Workshop and performance by Mateo Lopez in collaboration with: Bellaluz Gutiérrez-Dancer/Choreographer; Juliana Rodríguez Dancer/Choreographer; Alejandro Penagos-Performer;Lee Serle-Dancer/Choreographer; Connor Whiriskey- Sound Engineer; Manuel Quintana lighting and Mapping; and Paola Andrea Marti-producer. The workshop and performance is part of the artist's plastic research on the reuse of materials and ideas in different projects as a process of experimentation and materialization of the work.

2019.10 - REHENES: Siguiendo la línea de resaltar el valor arquitectónico de Bodega Piloto a través del registro de ésta en filmación y video, Bodega Piloto fue el escenario para el cortometraje Rehenes dirigido por Luis Vanegas con la actuación de Tatiana Barrero, Álvaro Benet y Camilo Jiménez Varón. Rehenes se gano el segundo galardón al mejor cortometraje en la competencia @proyecto48co y fue nominado en las 10 categorías que hacían parte de esta. Entre las menciones y premios que le fueron otorgados, también se incluye el premio a la mejor fotografía.

2019.10 - HOSTAGES: Following the line of highlighting the architectural value of Bodega Piloto through the recording of it in film and video, Bodega Piloto was the setting for the short film Rehenes directed by Luis Vanegas and starring Tatiana Barrero, Álvaro Benet and Camilo Jiménez Varón. Rehenes won the second award for best short film in the @proyecto48co competition and was nominated in the 10 categories that were part of it. Among the mentions and awards it received, it also won the award for best cinematography.

2019.02 - L’OR: En febrero del 2019, con el apoyo de Bodega Piloto, Anaïs Low, cantautora colombo suiza, utilizo el espacio para filmar el video musical de la canción L’OR. La filmación fue el primer evento artístico en el espacio después de haber sido vaciada por INETRA, una empresa de metalurgia del barrio industrial histórico de Bogotá.

2019.02 - L'OR: In February 2019, with the support of Bodega Piloto, Anaïs Low, a Colombian-Swiss singer-songwriter, used the space to film the music video for the song L'OR. The filming was the first artistic event in the space after it was emptied by INETRA, a metal work company in the historic industrial neighborhood of Bogota.
